What a crazy few weeks it has been. Today has been the first morning that I have stopped to think in far too long. There has been a lot of progress made and the cattle will look good at the fair. I hope that y’all like them as well as I do. The stalls will look great as well and I am excited to show off the new display. I will only be taking the 3 yearlings to the fair this year because well whatever could go wrong did go wrong. But it is all done and nothing I can do about it now. I am so excited to see everyone at the fair and hope everyone has safe travels.
Last Saturday night after I was done at the farm for the day I went to the Independence Motor Speedway to help Travis Smock and the #98 team. I have sponsored Travis for a couple of years now and also helped him get sponsor money. It sure takes a lot to run one of these teams but the competition is what keeps me going back for more. This weekend Travis was finally able to break the ice and get the first win of the season. The win came in trilling fashion with the pass for the lead taking place on the second to last lap! Good luck this weekend and turn this win into a winning streak!
I also got an update from the Missouri State Fair. From what I can tell all are having a great time. Good Luck goes out to Tom Thompson, Steven Steiner and the Stumpf family! Oh I also go an update of Tom’s mullet!
