Today the Carson & Barron Farms crew is taking out my corn! And this year has been a bumper crop. As the old saying goes I would rather be lucky then good, well I guess we have both bases covered because I am lucky and they are GOOD! The first half of the field we were seeing the 200+ bu green stripe on the gps unit in the combine quite a bit and it is a true blessing. The moisture is down around 17% as well so there will not be much to spend in the way of drying. All in all a great day for JJB Cattle Company and since I am not going to be farming the ground myself next year I get to take this corn money and put it to what I really love, the cows!
