The Iowa Jr. Hereford Preview show will be held this weekend in Marshalltown. Each year this was one of the shows that I always got “geared up” for. Great to see old friends and get ready for the upcoming Jr. National.
This year JJB Cattle Co. will be sponsoring both the Champion Owned Horned and Polled heifers. In addition to the sponsoring the Champions both will be receiving $250 in credit towards the purchase of a heifer from the 2011 JJB calf crop. The heifers out on the cows are better this year then they have ever been and we are very excited to show them off.
In honor of the Jr. show this weekend I will pass along some of the very best advise that I ever received before walking into the showring…
“Calm down and go kick their ass!”
