This past week was spent in Oklahoma getting ready for the Seedstock Source XX Sale at Star Lake Cattle Ranch. I had planned on getting an update up on here while we were down there but as typically happens I ran out of time! I was busy looking at cattle, trying to get a purchasing plan together for some of my favorite lots and took a bunch of pictures. This was the first time I have ever used a “real” camera and there is much room for improvement but these are some that I took that I liked.

This is an example of the picture in the catalog not quite doing an udder justice, which happens a lot with the 2 year-old cows that are featured in this sale as they grow and change. |

And last but not least my super cool nephew Grover Barber. He has done a lot of growing up since I had seen him last and I am very happy with the dog that he has become! |
All in all the cattle sold great. The people are the best. The steak and booze were both great and free. The only downsides were Crystal and I not getting anything bought and the Piano Man not knowing The Red Strokes by Garth Brooks I MEAN COME ON YOU PLAY A PIANO AND ARE FROM OKLAHOMA. He must be a Sooners fan.
